Graduate of Indiana University with degrees in Game Design with a focalization on Game Art, and Gender Studies with a lens toward media, Gwen strives for a career in animated entertainment. She believes everyone deserves to grow up seeing themselves represented in a joyful light.
Gwen is a concept artist, illustrator, and 2D animator on "Rockin' Racket", an in-development band-management simulator starring angst-ridden raccoons and inspired by pop-punk of the late 2000s. "Rockin' Racket" is available now on Steam!
- Oversee pitches, productions, and assist in project management for the indie title "Rockin' Racket".
- Visually develop character, UI/UX, and environment art direction for an independently developed title.
- Act as the lead artist by communicating with a team of 10 to ensure the implementation of assets, allocation of tasks, and timely completion of visual needs.
- Illustrate key art splashes for promotional materials.
- Manage social media sites: maintain posting schedule, generate promotional materials, and network.
- Write multiple passes of story development and design a four-act narrative: scripts, design documents, character sketches, and working alongside the lead narrative designer for maintenance of the game's vision.
Create 2D designs, drawings, and illustrations for pre-production stages for an upcoming project (NDA) using Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, and Adobe Illustrator. Conceptualize and synthesize designs for playable characters, props, and environments.
